Here we go for our winter in the sun!
We've decided to do much the same as last winter, but spending longer in Morocco and to this end we've made a few changes to accommodate "wild-camping" for longer periods. A solar panel was the most obvious and it's already proved its worth. Also additions to the gas system to give us greater capacity for Morocco, where we can't refill the system in the normal way. Bertie has been serviced, which included new brakes. With well over 50,000 miles on the clock there's bound to be some replacements needed by now!
We're again starting off with a group from the MotorhomeFun.co.uk forum but this time taking a bit of a lead ourselves to encourage people who've not been before, having received a lot of interest during the year at the various rallys/shows we've enjoyed.
So it's off to Mum for the New Year then the Chunnel is booked for 2 January. Return is "booked" for mid-April (the travel insurance insisted a return had to be booked although we don't actually have to tell them when as long as it's within 100 days. It's 99 actually.......)
